【Direct Supervisor】 Medical Scientific Liaison  Manager      

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES  / 主 要 职 责

 

1.Through face-to-face communicating emerging data on current marketed products with local KOLs (national & regional) in a fair, balanced and objective manner;

2.Response to KOLs request on topics of pre-launch compounds or indication, in which local sales team can not be involved;

3.Provide medical input to increase advocacy of local KOLs in series of scientific activities;

4.Help on local speakers pool maintenance and development;

Explore potential clinical study proposal in the field.

5.Act as local medical consultant;

6.Share emerging data with local sales team;

7.Help local sales team on trouble shooting and objection handling;

8.Provide medical input to local promotional activities as core member of Regional Brand Team;

9.Report back to Brand Team the local medical practice, key issues and critical competitors activities;

10.Keep pace with medical advancement and deliver internal sharing aligned with brand strategy;

11.Facilitate clinical activities with local investigators supporting clinical study team as required.

12.Review and approve regional and city level meetings.

Has an awareness of available scientific resources and demonstrates ability to access most up to date clinical data within designated TAs; Demonstrates clear understanding of relevant clinical data and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers.

Have commercial mindset and be able to initiate scientific messages aligned with brand strategy.

 

3.Communication/Presentation skills

Demonstrate strong skills to effectively and efficiently communicate with internal customers (local sales team and Brand Team) and external customers (KOLs and HCPs).

 

4.Self-directed manner

Good working plan and strong execution in a self-directed manner.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS /工 作 要 求

 

1.Academic / Professional qualification / 学 历 / 专 业 资 格

Bachelor Degree and above in medical, science or healthcare related degree

 

2.Technical / skill training / 技 术 / 技 能

- Effective and demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills

- Demonstrated ability to work in a self directed manner

 

3.Working experience /工 作 经 历

-2+ years experience in Multinational Pharmaceutical Company

-Excellent ability of literature comprehension

-Ability to understand commercial development perspectives

-Ability to integrate and work in cross functional network

-Understanding of IFPMA Code, Pharma Code and other related guidance and practical application

 

4.Language ability / 语 言 能 力

Good English comprehension in addition to Mandarin as native language

 

5.Computer literacy / 电 脑 知 识

Microsoft Office proficiency

 

6.Others / 其 他

-Travel required (local and national) 

-Higher degree in life sciences or business subject is desired

-Experience in similar role is preferred

-Clinical experiences is desired

-Product/Therapeutic area knowledge of AstraZeneca Brands/Products

-Excellent project management skill
