1.Summary:
This position will utilize current QA systems and processes to ensure that changes supporting business requirements are tested adequately at all lifecycle stages prior to promoting changes to any production systems.
2.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Job duties may include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:
-Organizing/Leading testing efforts as required by the UA change management process.
-Reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as we execute test cycles (Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing)
-Documenting testing results using the documented QA and Change Management procedures.
-Ensuring testing results are reviewed by Functional Stakeholders and approved by the Business Process Owner (BPO) before promoting to Production.
-Turning Requirements and Business Process Documents (BPDs) into manual and automated test cases and scripts
-Ensuring that the code changes meet the documented system requirements through comprehensive manual and automated testing.
-Accurately documenting defects using the documented QA process/system
-Maintaining, and supporting testing tools including researching the availability of new functionality as updates are provided by software providers.
-Identifying and working with team members from other areas of the business on QA projects and change management procedures.
-Serve as a liaison to assigned business units to perform post mortem analysis directed at collecting and consolidating feedback from the business.
-Identifying required updates to training materials
3.Education and Experience:
-High school diploma, and 2-3 more years’ experience and\or college degree;
-Familiar with standard Quality Assurance practices, procedures, policies and equivalent combination of education and related experience. -SAP experience is a plus.
4.Other Skills and Abilities:
-Some QA background preferred.
-Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
-Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Outlook).
5.Language Skills:
Ability to read and analyze general business periodicals, professional journal or technical procedures. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, etc.
6.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, averages, percentages.
7.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
